It is the vision of this ministry to glorify the Lord by providing encouragement, fellowship, prayer, and serving opportunities to families at Cornerstone who are led to disciple their children through home education.

Cooperative Learning

Fall 2024 we are offering two classes

Thursdays 9:25-10:15 AM: Truth Goodness and Beauty Hour: Draw nearer to God in this delightful hour of Prayer, Singing a Psalm, reading poetry, learning the stories behind hymns, habit training, artist study, and the building blocks of story with a focus on fairy tales.

Thursdays 1-2 PM: Ancient History/Earth Science:  Dive into important people in ancient History, along with hands-on activities, to complement your at home history studies.  History will be rotated each week with an Earth Science lesson based on Apologia's earth science book.

Meet-Ups

Parent discussions and encouragement led by a Cornerstone Church member over topics like:

• Homeschool styles; a day in the life of a homeschool family;

• Favorite curriculum/materials;

• Practical tips from a seasoned homeschool mom

• ‘How to Teach’ series (History, Science, Geography, Writing, etc).

Our last meet up was September 7th. New meet up dates will be posted here as they are scheduled.
