Colton and Lisa have been at Cornerstone Church since moving to Alaska in October 2016. They host a life group on the hillside and help support various ministries at Cornerstone. Colton humbly accepted the call to become an elder in 2019.

Colton grew up in San Antonio, Texas and came to faith at a Cornerstone Church down there. That faith grew as he was discipled in high school and through his college years at the University of Texas. He is grateful to the many men who faithfully invested their time in his life. Lisa grew up in Lake Jackson, Texas. She went to church as a child, but really grew in her faith during her time at Texas A&M. After working in college ministry for a short time, Lisa spent two years overseas teaching English and sharing the Gospel with unreached peoples. Although they both grew up in Texas, they didn’t meet until they returned to the state in 2010. They were married six months later and have since been blessed with three kids – Caden, Evie and Chase.

Colton is a petroleum engineer with ConocoPhillips and Lisa faithfully homeschools the kids. They have enjoyed making Anchorage their home – including all of the outdoor activities like skiing, biking, hunting and hiking. They love the multi-generational community of believers and the Bible-based teaching at Cornerstone and look forward to the great things God has in store for His church.
